Today I decided to apply for a private members club on a whim. The House of St Barnabas is a not for profit club, with all membership fees going to their Employment Academy, which trains homeless people in key skills and gives them work experience in the club’s restaurant and bar.

Wicked, non? You’re supposed to get two existing members to ‘propose’ your membership but obv. I don’t know anyone who’s a member of a club. Not that kind anyway. I tweeted ’em and they said it helps your application but isn’t ESSENTIAL. So I sent a nice application and they replied asking for a headshot which is…interesting.

Would be very nice to get in and have somewhere in London to work and meet and go to events. It’s Greek Street, so excellent location. Fab decor too.
